The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star maintains considerable online following

Kai Trump will have numerous well-known supporters when she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events recently and has position 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He is the best player in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face several top competitors in the sport at the competition, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai exposes golf to wider groups, specifically reaching the next generation.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
