BF6 Battle Royale Goes Live Very Soon as a Free-to-Play Experience
After quite some time of anticipation, the battle royale experience for BF6 is officially arriving. Last week's talk claiming its release would happen alongside the first season were true. Players can jump into the gameplay starting very soon.
Season 1 Introducing a Brand-New Arena, Style, and Guns
In tandem with the BR mode, the first season is also kicking off. This adds a new map, a additional style, and fresh guns. What's more, the Redacted Sector is being introduced. An embedded teaser will be released at release, providing players a taste of what's to come.
Free-to-Play Model Makes Battle Royale Available to Any Player
Maybe the most significant detail is that Battlefield Redsec will be F2P. Similar to other games, you don't have to own the original Battlefield 6 to join in. A number of participants have already tried early versions of the game type. These trials were conducted in a testing environment, which the developers described as their most ambitious player partnership initiative.
The heart-pounding excitement when facing opposing teams can't be found in different last-man-standing mode. It's like do or die, and you really mind if you make it or not.
Even though I considered myself a critic earlier, I'm completely supportive of the battle royale after playing it.
Such first reactions from testers have been overwhelmingly favorable. Naturally, the mode may have been adjusted over the last couple of months in terms of tuning and tempo. However, initial indicators are positive that Redsec could emerge as a true competitor to established offerings. Many are hoping that the top weapons from the original Battlefield 6 will carry over in the BR.
